Original 6 in. silvered dial signed “Seth Thomas, Sonora Chime”, brass 8 day spring driven movement with progressive quarter hour strike on a nest of 5 bells, running & striking. In a mahogany beehive case with brass feet, chime-silent switch on the left side of the case. 14.25 in. high x 10.25 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep. Weight: 13 lbs.

Bronze beehive shaped case has a hinged front door bezel and pierced decorated rear door; 5 in. silvered metal dial signed Seth Thomas, Sonora Chime with applied hour numbers and pierced black hands. Brass 8 day spring driven time only movement No. 89M with separate spring driven movement No. 90 having a progressive quarter hour strike on 4 bells and striking the hour on a fifth bell; has on/off lever for bells on the right side of the case. In good running condition. 15 in. high x 9.25 in. wide x 7 in. deep.

The dial has been over polished and the bezel is heavily tarnished, finish on case is crazed, door is off the hinges, there are 4 bells, the clock only runs for short periods, it does strike, believe it just needs a good cleaning and lubrication.
