Seth Thomas City Series – Pittsburgh VP. 6 in. Painted metal dial with silvered bezel, black Roman hour numerals, spade hands; 8 day spring driven movement No. 6 3/4, signed – S. Thomas, Thomaston, Conn. U.S.A. – fancy brass lyre shaped plates, count wheel half hour strike mechanism, coiled gong strike with coiled mount, fancy pendulum with mirrored, etched and beveled glass bob, brass cover and acorn finials with silvered leafy embellishment. Walnut case with carved top, rosettes on the corners, leaf carved frieze and inverted side corbels. This is an “A” clock. 25.5 in. high x 15.5 in. wide.
