Seth Thomas City Clock – Louisville. 6 in. painted metal dial with silvered bezel, black Roman hour numerals and spade hands; brass, 8 day spring driven movement No. 6 3/4, signed – S. Thomas, Thomaston, Conn. U.S.A. – has fancy lyre shaped brass plates, count wheel half hour strike mechanism, silvered bell, fancy pendulum with beveled glass mirrored and etched bob with brass bezel, brass acorn finials and leafy silvered embellishments. In a walnut arched top case with arched crest and turned side columns. Very rare model and part of the Mitchell Collection. 22 in. high.
