Canadian. 1910s. Quarter sawn oak case. The "Regulator #1" model is known as Pequegnat's only weight driven wall clock. It is arguably the most accurate clock made by the company. It features an eight-day weight driven time only movement. Original pendulum, original dial, original oak surface. Reproduction paper on reverse. Movement stamped, “Pequegnat Clock Co.” on outer plate. 4.75″ x 16″ x 16″. Mahogany case in original finish. The painted metal dial has been professionally restored. There is a fine scratch at the centre left of the hands. Brass door closures are intact and functional. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

This Berlin-period example features a slightly less contoured bezel than later examples. Dial signed, “The Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Canada.” on lower edge. A full paper dial is present in the 2nd quarter at the back marked “Toronto Eight Day Office Clock Made By The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. Berlin, Canada.”. Movement stamped, “Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin Ont” on outer plate. 4.75″ x 16″ x 16″. Oak case has been refinished. The painted dial shows a paint repair in the second quarter at the 3 continuing to the lower quarter above the 6. Minor flea bites are concentrated at the centre of the dial. Brass door closures are intact and functional. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.
