Quarter sawn oak case. An original mission design by Pequegnat. Retains full paper, lower rear case. Movement signed, “Pequegnat Clock Co, Berlin, ON”. 20″ x 13.25″ x 6.75″. Original finish. Minor joint separation at upper right front leg. Mechanism exhibits oxidation, mostly noticeable on the rear plate. Pendulum stick is missing lower adjustment screw and exhibits a small glue repair. Mechanism complete with correct pendulum assembly and winding key.

Canadian. 1910s. Golden oak. 8-day spring driven time and strike movement. Strikes on a helical gong. Paper on reverse. Dial marked, "The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Canada" lower edge. Overpasted merchant decal, over the paper. Signed by the jeweler that sold the clock on February 21, 1911. This clock was running at the time of cataloguing, but its service history is unknown.
