Canadian. 1920s. Exceptionally lively quarter sawn oak case. 15-day time only with double main spring. The "Moncton" clock was made in two case lengths. This is the shorter version. Signed, "Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Canada", dial. Excellent original condition. Retains levellers and beat indicator. Original arabic dial. Service history from 2002 included. Mechanically functioning. 33.25" x 16" x 5".

15 day spring-driven movement. The Moncton model was produced in a “long drop” and “short drop” case. This is the long drop version. Dial marked, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Canada” lower edge. 35″ x 16″ x 5″. Quarter sawn oak case in original finish. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key. Dial exhibits scattered paint loss. Retains remnant of original paper, rear case.

Features a 15-day double spring movement using a graham deadbeat escapement. The Moncton model was favoured by Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Railways as a reliable station timekeeper. The moncton came in two case styles; a long drop and short drop.
