The first issue Moncton features a flat lower door frame and a tapered bottom, unique from later examples. Dial marked, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Canada” on lower edge. 33.5″ x 16″ x 5″. Quarter sawn oak in original finish. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key.

Dial marked, “The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Canada” on lower edge. 35″ x 16″ x 5″. Mahogany case in original finish. Dial exhibits surface rubbing along upper left edge. Mechanism complete with pendulum assembly and winding key. Partial label, rear case.

Canadian. 1920s. Quarter sawn oak case. 15-day time only with double main spring. The "Moncton" clock was made in two case lengths. This is the shorter version. Label reads, "Moncton / The Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co. / Kitchener, Canada", reverse. Movement stamped, "Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co.". Original dial, case with original finish. Retains label on reverse. Retains levellers and beat indicator. Minor surface toning concentrated around the center of the dial. Mechanically functioning. From the Graham J.F. An early version of one of Pequegnat’s high-end office clocks. Retains the correct 15-day, double main spring time only movement and Berlin-signed “Wilmot” municipal dial (flaking). (Wilmot Township, Waterloo County). Quarter-sawn oak case. Correct black stick pendulum. Measures 33 1/4 in. x 15 1/2 in.
