Canadian. 1910s. Quarter sawn oak. Weight driven time and strike movement. Strikes on tuned rods. Movement stamped, "The Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Ont". Strikes on tuned rods. Original finish. Correct pendulum and weights. Brass numerals are not Pequegnat. This clock was running at the time of cataloguing, but its service history is unknown. Rare shaker style variant. Rear movement movement plate incised, “Arthur Pequegnat Clock Co., Berlin, Ont”. 83″ x 19″ x 11.5″. Original finish exhibits uniform, heavily “alligatored” surface. Mechanism complete with original weights, chains and pendulum. One strip of missing trim along upper right side of case.

Canadian. 1920s. Oak. 8-day spring driven time and strike movement. Strikes on a helical gong. Each of Pequegnat's catalog tall case clocks were outfitted with weight driven movements. This example is factory-fitted with a spring driven movement, typically reserved for their wall clocks. Movement is stamped, "Pequegnat Clock Co.". Original finish.
