Ansonia Walnut Wall Regulator Queen Elizabeth. 8 in. paper dial with Roman hour numerals; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed Ansonia Clock Co. has and half hour strike on a coiled gong, oak pendulum stick with a brass covered bob. In a carved walnut case with turned finials on the crest and corners, door has long turned side columns and a seashell carved lower bracket with spindled turnings and finials. Good refinished condition with and original paper label on the back of the case. 39 in. high x 14.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

Ansonia Oak Wall Regulator Queen Elizabeth. 8 in. paper dial with black Roman hour numerals; brass 8 day spring driven movement has a half hour count wheel strike mechanism on a coiled gong, signed Ansonia Clock Co. New York, ebonized wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob. In a carved chestnut case with turned finials, half columns, raised panel and shell carving on the crest, turned columns on the sides of the door and shell carved lower bracket, turned posts and finials on the lower gallery; in good general condition & original finish, has some minor loss to the dial at number 4. 37 in. high x 13.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

This wall clock is a Ansonia Clock Company “Queen Elizabeth” and has a solid mahogany case with great details including turned columns, finials and spools. Circa Mid-19th Century. Includes pendulum and winding key. CORRECTION: This is not a Seth Thomas wall clock. Condition (Excellent). Size 38″T. x 14-1/4″W. x 4-3/4″D.

A fine late 19th century walnut wall clock with an incised crest with four finials, arch topped glazed door flanked by four detached columns and a carved bottom bracket with turnings. The paper dial, a later restoration, is signed “Ansonia”. Label on back identifies it as the “Queen Elizabeth”.
