New Haven Mahogany Bracket Clock, Westminster Chime No. 3. Brass dial has a 5.5 in silvered chapter ring with black painted hour numerals and 5 minute numbers outside, gilt winged maidens head corner spandrel mounts and beveled door glass. Brass 8 day spring driven movement has a progressive quarter hour strike on 4 coiled gongs running on a separate movement wound through the base and strikes the hour on a fifth gong. In a mahogany case with spelter mounts, finials, feet, handles, filigree pierced side panels and maidens on the corners. Overcoated finish, finish is worn from the mounts & door bezel and clock is not running. 18.5 in. high x 12 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.
