Description

Cast French metal in worn bronzed finish, circa 1890 figure of seated Gaulish soldier with sword, ornate plinth with urn to left with clock movement. The enameled porcelain dial with open escapement is marked “New Haven Clock Co.”, all resting on black enameled iron base with scroll lion paw feet. Brass time & strike spring driven movement marked with “New Haven/Trade Mark in circle with 6-pointed star in center, with original pendulum & key, 15.5 x 17 x 7”.

Condition

As above, otherwise fine. Mr. Vallee had most of his clocks in running order but Forsythes’ does not guarantee working condition on any clocks or watches.
