Late 19th century enameled Iron case ‘Glasgow’ mantel clock by Ansonia Clock Co., Ansonia, CT. With a black enameled Iron case, adorned with Ram’s head ornaments, and sitting atop scrolled claw feet. English Elliot, London Marquetry Queen Anne Style Walnut Long Case Clock, Circa 1910, 11″ brass dial with cast spandrels & silvered chapter ring, 8-day, well made brass weight driven movement with maintaining power and adjustable dead beat escapement, the cabinet rare & beautifully executed inlaid wood was made meticulously from the design of the early 18th century, plaque inside door indicates a New York firm imported the clock from England, Elliot is well known for superior clock movements at the turn of 19-20th centuries — as fine a clock as you could own from the period it was made, suitable for a formal room setting, excellent condition.
