Japy Freres Mantle Clock W/ Sphinx. Metal dial with inset enamel hour numerals, typical round brass movement signed Japy Freres, strikes on a single bell. The case has figural winged sphinx holding up the movement, has a large urn finial on top. Case is in very good condition. Dial has a hairline along the XI – 11 numeral. 19 in. high x 14 in. wide x 8 in. deep.

French Japy Frères Painted Wood Mantel Clock: With a T&S movement signed “Japy Frères” and numbered 15858; an unmarked porcelain dial with hour and minute markers; and the pendulum. The case is painted with a courting scene and flowers and has a metal bird finial and metal trim and feet.

Japy Freres 3 Pc. Champleve Clock Set. 3.25 in. gilt bronze dial has painted Roman hour numerals, champlevé enamel decorated center, original black hands, dial signed Shreve Crump & Low, Boston; typical round brass 8 day spring driven movement with half hour strike on a coiled gong and signed Japy Freres. In a French champlevé enamel filigree decorated case in tones of red, blue and white, has swirling bronze filigree borders and seated putti figural finial. 17 in. matching pair of candelabras have champlevé design with 4 flowing candle arms and center candle holder with flame finial. Set is in excellent condition with no breaks, losses cracking or repairs to the enamel. Clock measures 15 in. high x 8 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
