Caldwell, PhiladelphiaÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell. In a polished brass case with arched top, applied maidenÂs head and filigree and 3 column side clusters. On a stepped black marble base with dore bronze opposite figural winged mountain men supports on the stem. In good running condition; case attr: J.E. Caldwell & Co. black Roman hour numerals, pierced black hands and sub alarm dial below; brass 8 day spring driven movement has a half hour strike on a blued coiled gong, separate hammer for alarm strike, hour repeater button on top of the case and a platform lever escapement, movement signed ÂJ.E. Caldwell & Co., Phiadelphia & ÂDuverdrey & Bloquel, France, (12) Twelve JewelsÂ. In beautiful condition, running and striking. 5.5 in. high x 3.75 in. wide x 3.25 in. deep.

Black open moon hands, enameled dial w/ black Roman hour numerals and minute markers on the chapter ring, sub-dial below for the alarm; signed on the dial J.E. Caldwell & Co. Quality brass movement w/ silvered lever platform escapement, strikes the hour and once on the half hour on a single coiled gong, clock and alarm are in good running condition, movement signed J.E. Caldwell & Co. Philadelphia and CH. Hour, France. All appears to be running, strikes properly and balance has good brisk motion; in original traveling case. 6.5 in. high

Caldwell & Co., New YorkÂ, has black hour numbers and fancy pierced engraved hands; brass double spring driven time only movement signed with Seth Thomas trademark and has a lever escapement with good balance wheel in running condition. In a green marble case with bronze bezel, dore bronze filigree and lionÂs head corners, green marble base standing on dore bronze fruit cluster feet. In good condition, has chips around the winding holes. 12 in. high x 16.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
