Ithaca No. 11 Octagon Calendar Clock. Large original paper dial is signed Manufactured by the Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. Ithaca, NY, and has fancy embellishments. 6 in. chapter ring has black Roman hour numerals, 7 in. lower dial has a 31 date calendar with exposed pendulum, months and days of the week; has original hands. Quality brass movement by E.N. Welch, 8 day, spring driven, has count wheel strike mechanism and strikes on a bell; the lower calendar mechanism is in good working condition, has original cylinders and paper labels with brass covered pendulum. In a walnut No. 11 octagon shelf clock case in good condition and original finish. 21 in. high.

Description
Ithaca Poni Calendar No.11 Octagon. Original single paper dial on zinc back has a 7 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, pierced spade hands and open center, 8 in. calendar dial with black Arabic 31 date numbers, cut out exposing the pendulum bob and open apertures exposing the day & month cylinders; signed Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. Ithaca, Ny. Brass 8 day spring driven movement has countwheel hour strike mechanism with steel bell, singed E.N. Welch, Forestville. It has silvered pendulum bob, lower calendar mechanism is in good working condition with original barrels and paper labels. In a hexagonal top walnut shelf case; overcoated finish, dial has some roughness. 18 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
