British, 18th century, dial signed "Joseph Wood" and "Scarborough", arched and painted brass and silvered dial, seconds sweep, moon phase, and date aperture, brass movement, set in fine figured mahogany waisted case with arched door flanked by carved cluster columns in the Gothic taste, pendulum, winder, and two weights, 89-1/2 x 21 x 10-1/2 in.

A fine Pennsylvania Figured Maple tall case clock. Most probably Philadelphia or Bucks County. Circa 1780-1800. It has a hand painted dial surmounted with a broken pediment with a central Spire or finial. Has nice flame twisted columns on either side of the hood. The waist and base of the clock flanked by fluted quarter columns, and it rests on bracket feet. The door mounted to the waist section of the clock decorated with a finely carved shell.Measures approx. 92"h. Says Northampton, but writing is faint, as it was previously cleaned away. 30 hour clock, missing one finial, has pendulum, and weight

the rectangular case with swept caddy top with pinecone finials and carrying handle, the sides with gothic pierced rectangular sound grills on moulded plinth base and ogee bracket feet, the 8' silvered Roman dial with outer five minute Arabic track, the centre with mock pendulum below XII and date aperture above VI, set within a glazed circular brass bezel, the brass twin fusee movement with anchor escapement striking a bell, with pendulum, case key and winder, 50.5cm high
