Gilbert No. 10 Weight Dirven Hanging Regulator. 10″ paper dial with silvered bezel signed “Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn” has black Roman hour numerals, inset sub seconds and pierced Maltese hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement has a Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, wooden pendulum stick with brass covered bob and silvered brass pulley with silvered brass covered weight. In a variant walnut case with turned spherical mounts on the carved crest, fancy carved frieze with corner spandrels and lower bracket with incised highlights and inset burled walnut center panel. Case is refinish, extra holes behind the replaced dial, pendulum bob replaced; running condition. 52.5″ high x 18.25″ wide x 7.5″ deep. Weight: 40.25 lbs.

Gilbert Oak No. 20 Wall Hanging Jewelers Regulator. 12″ porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands, sweep seconds and heavy brass bezel; 8 day weight driven time only movement has a silvered brass covered weight and 3 cut glass jar mercurial compensating pendulum. In an oak case with filigree carved pediment crest having a turned center finial with applied filigree spandrels on the door front and lower bracket. Dark red-brown overcoated finish, running. 83″ high x 21.5″ wide x 9.5″ deep.

Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, ConnÂ, has black incised Roman hour numerals, fancy filigree engraved center, open moon hands and brass bezel; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement with deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, solid brass pulley, brass covered weight and wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob. In a carved oak wall hanging case having a shell and filigree carved crest, beaded door trim with filigree and carved lower bracket with filigree and corbel support. Nice condition with a medium dark brown alligatored original finish, door glass is replaced, silvering is worn off of the dial. 88.75 in. high x 22.5 in. wide x 9.5 in. deep.

In an oak case in with high carved crest and spindled gallery, inset burled backboard and carved lower bracket; refinished, missing top finials, dial has a few chips behind the bezel. 78 in. high x 22.5 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.

Square silvered metal dial measures 6 in. x 6 in., has black hour numbers and is signed “Made by Gilbert at Winsted, Conn, USA”; brass 8 day spring driven movement numbered 81, with an hour strike on 2 straight gongs and striking the half hour on a single gong, a chromed cylindrical pendulum bob. In a miniature walnut case with arched crest and lower drop with applied carvings and beveled glass on the door. Has an original dark brown finish and is in working condition. 24 in. high x 8 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.
