William L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn., "Regulator No. 11" wall clock, walnut case, paper on metal dial, maltese hands, 8 day, time and strike spring driven brass movement. This case was made to house a weight driven movement as evidenced by the guide pulleys still in the case, but now has a Gilbert spring driven movement. There is no evidence this case had a weight movement installed.

Gilbert ÂThespian Oak Wall Regulator; Original 8 in. paper dial with black Roman hour numerals and original hands, has an 8 day brass time only spring driven movement with brass covered pendulum bob and wood stick. The oak case has a fancy carved crest with side corbels, reverse gilt decorated door glass and carved lower bracket. Signed with a paper label on the back ÂWm. L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted Conn.Â. 38 in. high x 14 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

Gilbert No. 10 Weight Driven Wall Regulator, 10 in. paper dial with silvered bezel, signed "Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn," black Roman hour numerals, inset sub seconds and pierced Maltese hands; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement has a Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, wooden pendulum stick with brass covered bob and silvered brass pulley with silvered brass covered weight. In a variant walnut case with turned spherical mounts on the carved crest, fancy carved frieze with corner spandrels and lower bracket with incised highlights and inset burled walnut center panel. Case is refinished, extra holes behind the replaced dial, pendulum bob replaced, running, 52.5 in. high x 18.25 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.

In an oak wall hanging case, refinished, original door glass, good overall condition; silvered finish worn off of pendulum bob and weight, movement running. 47″ high x 19.5″ wide x 11″ deep. Weight: 27.75 lbs.
