Gilbert Bell Top Mantel Clock: with adamantine and painted wood case. 5 1/2″ fancy dial over paper. The feet, lion masks and bell frame are metal. Time and bell striking movement. Strikes the half hour also.
(The paper dial looks new, the time for striking needs properly set.)

Early 20th century ‘Curfew’ bell top mantel clock by Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, CT. Having an ebonized wood case with bell ornament crown. Has an enameled Celluloid dial with Arabic numerals. Contains an 8-Day Time and Strike movement. Pendulum is present. Case measures approx. 16-1/2″H x 17″W x 6-1/4″D. Will not ship, we can refer local shippers. Please note: Dial has crackling due to weathering or sun exposure. See pictures for detail on condition.

Gilbert Curfew Bell Top Mantel Clock: With an 8 day T&S movement with gong and 1/2 hour strike. There is a marked celluloid dial in a black case with marbleized sides. The key and pendulum are with the clock.
The clock is running and striking at this time.
