American Ansonia Clock Co. “Comet” Carriage Alarm Clock, Circa 1900, 3 1/2″ replaced paper dial, 30-hour, brass spring driven movement marked “Ansonia Clock Co.” with original key attached, beautiful Victorian carriage clock with allegorical figures, scrollwork & well-cast details & tarnished silver finish, this clock is rarely found in this large size, detail work on case is exquisite for an American carriage clock, restorable condition, missing bell, bare metal finish, movement intact. Height 8″.

Blued steel Breuget hands. Includes original velvet travel case. A fine, highly decorated timepiece. Stamped “14217 underneath and on back plate. Attributed to Drocourt, Paris.
