French Slate & Porcelain Mantle Clock: the 8 day time with half hour gong striking movement is numbered 4236. The slate dial with engraved and gilt painted numbers is 5″ wide. The case has brass finials and 6 hand painted porcelain insets.
(The lower front at the base is a repaired or replaced piece of slate. Nicely done, but darker than the rest.)

French Slate & Marble Mantle Clock: the 8 day time with half hour gong striking movement is marked Made in France and numbered 6480. The dial with visible escapement is 5 1/2″ wide. The case’s back has black marble highlights. The 2 tube pendulum is filled with live mercury. WE CANNOT SHIP IT.
(Time of strike is off. The slate has corner and edge chips, nothing extreme.)

French Slate Mantle Clock: the time with bell strike movement is numbered 68187. The black ring dial is 4″ wide. The slate case has 5 metal columsn on each side. Above the dial is an in relief scene of Roman soldiers, other people and animals. Below the dial is a brass plaque with a 1902 presentation.
(Has no hands or key. The slate has a scattering of small chips. One larger chip is on the front edge of the top left side.)

French Signed Slate Mantle Clock: 8 day time and strike; 4 3/4″ double sunk porcelain dial, unmarked with visible escapement; has pendulum; no key; movement signed A Horlocerie Paris 2941 9 2; beveled glass on upper and lower case.
(Dial has damage around the keyhole by 4; case nicks.)
