Description

A French ormolu and rouge griotte marble clock with barometer and automaton fountain by Denlau & Borius, Paris, No. 582. Circa 1890.

The cupola top supported by four caryatids and having a central revolving spiral-twist glass rod. Single barrel movement with independent single barrel automaton movement. H. 22 inches. Excellent condition.

Description

French Marble & Bronze Animated Wallace Fountain Clock. Dore bronze case in the form of a tower with long scrolling corbels on the corners, the cupola top has a fish scale pattern, dolphin finial, has peacocks on the corners of the dome with palm trees and silvered arches exposing an animated spiral glass rod. The glass rod spins, running on a designated movement, time only clock movement signed , Deniau & Borius Fabricants Paris, has silvered dial with Roman hour numerals above a silvered barometer dial; stands on a rouge marble base. In very good working condition, 22 in. high.

Bronze 2 tone case in the form of a tower with long scrolling corbels on the corners, the cupola top has a fish scale pattern, dolphin finial, figural maidens holding up the dome and an animated spiral glass rod. The glass rod spins, running on a designated movement. French brass, time only clock movement has silvered chapter ring with Roman hour numerals above a Reaumur barometer; stands on a black marble base. In very good working condition. 20.5 in. high x 8.5 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.
