French Establisment Petit Unusual Figural Dore Bronze Mantle Clock, Circa 1830, 3″ engraved silvered dial, 8-day, small caliber circular brass movement with trademark, rare & unusual dore’ bronze mantle clock, depicting a formally dressed Viennese woman holding a silver cat in her lap, a very early clock with high definition and detail, very good condition with some darkening to the silver. Call it patina! Height 16″.

The inset porcelain dial has a 3 in. gilt painted chapter ring with Roman hour numerals, open moon hands, floral center with instruments and a painted scene with 2 woman embracing below. Dore bronze case has an oversized urn finial on top, scrolled inverted corbels on the corners under hanging garland, turned bronze feet and porcelain panels on the sides. Typical, round, French brass spring driven movement, strikes on a silvered bell; movement signed Vincenti & Cie. In good condition, no breaks to the porcelains and case is good and clean with no repairs. 16.5 in. high x 9 in. wide x 7.7 in. deep.

French Figural Dore Bronze Mantle Clock. 3.5 in. silvered dial with damascened center, gilt incised Roman hour numerals, fancy hands and beaded bezel; typical round brass spring driven movement, strikes on the half hour on a steel bell. In a large bronze case with figural French woman on top, she sits beside a table holding a pen and paper, a guitar leans against a table to the right; the base has fancy swirling filigree design with a manÂs head in the center over a strand of hanging fruit, scrolled feet and ribbed sides. In good condition with no breaks or losses, case has a good original finish. 19 in. high x 17.5 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

Dore bronze case, figural top with a man tied down, laying on the back of a sprinting horse as they pass by a tree. Marble & Dore Bronze Figural Mantle Clock. 3. 5 in. convex blue enamel painted metal dial with gilt stars and porcelain inserts with Roman hour numerals, gilt pierced hands; typical French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed LÂMarti et Cie, has an half hour count wheel strike on a bell. Case has gilt bronze figural putti with cupid holding the hand of a female figure and whispering into her ear, they lean against the timepiece in between them; on a carved white marble base with gilt bronze mounts, beaded trim and feet, signed on a metal tag inset in the back of the marble which reads ÂJ.V. et Fils Brevetes, Sgdg, ParisÂ. In good overall condition with no breaks or repairs to the marble or bronze. 12.5 in. high x 15.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Enamel dial has black Roman hour numerals and open moon hands; round French brass time and strike movement with count wheel strike mechanism, strikes on a bell; movement is signed Roblin & Fils, Freres, Paris. The dore bronze case shows a seated cherub representing Clio the muse of history, studying a book. Dial has chips at 3 & 9 on the edge, 10.5 in. high x 16 in. wide x 5 in. deep
