A late 19th century German freeswinger wall clock by Friedrich Mauthe, Schwenningen. 8-day time and strike movement with a two-part dial, Arabic numerals and matching pendulum. Walnut case with shaped crest and turned finials over a dial door with circular glass and turned pilasters and a shaped lower drop. Original finish with some wear, restored Horse on crest, running when cataloged. 37" high overall. ESTIMATE $400-600

A turn of the century German wall clock by Friedrich Mauthe, Schwenningen. 8-day time and strike movement with a two-part porcelain dial, Roman numerals and R/A pendulum. Walnut case with shaped crest and turned finials over a single long door with turned fluted pilasters and a shaped lower drop. Original finish with some wear, replaced crest and finials, running when cataloged. 33 3/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $200-300

Friedrich Mauthe Walnut Wall Regulator. Original 6.5 in. paper dial with black hour numbers, fancy repousse brass center, black pierced filigree hands and brass bezel; 8 day spring driven movement has pierced brass plates signed with Friedrich Mauthe, Schwenningen trade mark and serial No. 25707, half hour strike on a coiled gong, long gridiron pendulum with repousse brass bob. In a walnut case with carved crest having turned teardrop finials, turned half columns on the door with leaf carved spandrels and carved lower drop section with turned columns, finials and spherical mounts. In good condition, running, has an enhanced original finish, missing one molding on the front door. 39 in. high x 17.5 in. wide x 7 in. deep.
