Ethel North Pillar & Scroll. Mahogany case, old refinish, period finials. Original painted wood dial. Old, professional reverse painted tablet. 30 hour time and strike weight driven wood works movement. Ht. 30″.

Norris North Pillar & Scroll Mantle Clock: wood, East-West works with bell strike. The wood dial is 9″ wide and has painted grapes and strawberries in the center. The interior label is partial, but legible in the center. The case is mahogany and veneer. Weights and pendulum are with it. No key. With original glass plates.
(Has no finials. The lower glass is broken. Not tested; the weight cables are very short. The case’s veneer and scroll top have some repair problems and warping. There is one pulley on the top right; the cable is too short. Screws have been added to secure the dial in place.)

Norris North Pillar & Scroll Mantle Clock: with an East-West wood works and bell strike. The wood dial is 9″ wide and has a painted basket of flowers in the center. The interior label is a bit rough on the sides, but legible in the center. The case is mahogany and veneer. Old weights and pendulum are with it. No key.
(Has replaced upper and original lower glass. The clock has no hands, but worked when tested with only slightly raised weights and pendulum. The door’s key frame is partly gone. The backboard has added holes.)

Seth Thomas Pillar and Scroll Shelf Clock, Plymouth, Connecticut, mahogany scroll top case with three brass urn finials, painted wood dial with flower basket in center, reverse painted lower glass, label “Clocks, Made and Sold by Seth Thomas, Plymouth, Conn.”, comes with hand written not from Nov. 1953 stating the clock was purchased for $175 from Litchfield, CT. Replaced movement, missing pendulum, and cracked glass on clock face. Measures approx. 31″ tall x 17 1/2″ wide x 4 1/2″ deep.

Scroll top case with turned columns, reverse painted glass tablet, hand painted dial, 3 brass urn finials, wooden works, weight driven, thirty-hour clock. Very nice label, “Made and Sold by Bishop & Bradley, Watertown (Conneticut). Measures approx. 31″ tall x 17″ wide x 4” deep.

Chauncey Ives Pillar & Scroll Clock. Painted wood dial has a faded 10 in. chapter ring with black Arabic hour numbers and gilt spandrels, fancy black pierced hands; wooden works movement has count wheel strike mechanism, iron weights with wood pulleys, iron bell & brass covered pendulum bob. In a mahogany pillar & scroll case, has a broken arch crest, heavy brass finials, turned side columns and valanced feet; original reverse painted lower tablet; minor loss to apron, crack in dial glass. 31 in. high x 16.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
