Circa 1875 American E. Howard & Company, Boston 8 Day Wall Clock with 7″ Replaced painted dial signed E. Howard & Co., Weight driven brass movement, Walnut case period. A good looking wall clock. Excellent condition with major restorations to case and reverse painted glasses. 29″H x 11″W x 4″D

E. Howard No. 5 Banjo Clock. 7 in. painted metal dial, has black Roman hour numerals, signed E. Howard & Co. Boston, open moon hands; brass weight driven movement signed E. Howard & Co. Boston, has recoil escapement, No. 5 weight, brass covered pendulum bob with wood stick and lower weight baffle. In a rosewood banjo style case with red, black & gilt reverse painted throat and door glasses. Case has an old enhanced finish, replaced pendulum stick, old replaced iron dial and has some minor inpainting to the glasses which are replaced. 29 in. high x 12 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

In a rosewood grain painted banjo style case with red, black & gilt reverse painted throat and door glasses. Case has an overcoated finish, repairs to bottom board and joints, replaced hinged screws in the lower door, repaired pendulum stick, replaced dial and repainted glasses; the ratchet spring for the drive train is loose, not allowing the clock to hold power after winding. 29 in. high x 12 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

Circa 1850 American Unsigned 8 Day Wall Clock with 7″ Nicely restored through out, 8 Day weight driven brass movement, Very good case with mahogany turned bezel and half round figured mahogany molding with gilded reverse painted tablets in a typical Howard style.
