Introduced by Chelsea in 1999 to celebrate the new millennium carried a suggested retail price of $3,000.

Large 8.5 in. silvered dial with applied gilt numbers, Double-M millennium symbol and incised chapter ring; gilt brass case and bezel with walnut platform and gilt base, engraved with historical names of artists and scientists. Clock is in very good original finish and condition with no scratches, breaks or losses, in good working order. 12.5 in. high x 14 in. wide

Chelsea Millennium Ship’s Bell Clock, Chelsea Clock Company, Boston, Massachusetts, with polished brass and American walnut case, hinged bezel, 8 1/2-in. silvered dial with raised Arabic numerals and millennium logo, the base engraved with the names of famous artists and scientists, eight-day, lever-escapement, ship’s bell striking movement, all in the original fitted presentation box with operating instructions, ht. 12 1/4 in.

Note: The “New Millennium” was introduced by Chelsea in 1999 to celebrate just that, and carried a suggested retail price of $3,000. This clock was never used and is in new condition.

Chelsea “Millennium” Shelf Clock, round brass case set on a wooden plinth, which has a brass molded base, 12 1/2″ tall x 14″ wide, engraved on the brass base with the names of the, Worlds Great Scholars, marked on the face, “M/M & Chelsea,” missing key.
