Miniature French Bronze Fusee Mantle Clock. Dore bronze case has a standing figure of a soldier wearing a helmet and holding a long spear and shield, has a tall clock tower to the left which is relief decorated on the front with a figural bust and filigree, double half side columns and a primitive ship sailing on the sea, the base has a filigree mount with maidens head portrait and filigree decorated feet. 2 in. engraved and silvered dial with incised black Roman hour numerals, blued spade and pointer hands; quality brass single fusee spring driven time only movement in good running condition having a fancy pierced decorated and engraved bridge plate over the large balance wheel. Unsigned, in very good condition, has a good fusee chain, springs wind and retain power and balance wheel swings freely with nice brisk motion. 10.5 in. high x 6.75 in. wide x 2.5 in. deep.
