Benjamin Twiss Wood Works Column Clock: weight driven with bell strike and 10″ wood dial. In a mahogany and veneer case with interior label, painted columns and stenciled splat.
(1 missing and 2 replaced glasses. No hands or pendulum. Unstrung weights and cotter pins connecting the movement parts together. the case needs cleaned and has only minor problems.)

A mid 19th century Column shelf clock by B & H Twiss, Meriden, Conn. 30-hour weight driven time and strike wooden “Torrington” type movement with painted wooden dial. Mahogany case with stenciled “Eagle” crest, single door with reverse painted lower glass flanked by stenciled half columns. Old finish with some wear, lower glass a good older replacement. Running when cataloged. 34 1/4″ high.

E. Hotchkiss Wood Works 1/2 Column Clock: T & S with a wood dial and wood works; has an interior paper label that reads “Elisha Hotchkiss, Burlington, Conn.”; in a veneered case with a stenciled top, side columns and a mirrored door; Circa 1810.
Not tested. (The owner’s note states that it is in running order.)

Jerome & Darrow Wood Works Column Clock: 8 day time with bell strike, 10 1/2″ wood dial, good interior label and original glass and mirror. The case is mahogany and veneer with stenciled columns, carved eagle splat and birds eye maple trim. Not tested for working condition; the weight strings are not attached. There are weights.
(No pendulum rod or ball. Cracked upper glass and spotty mirror. There are a couple small areas of veneer repair.)

Seth Thomas Wood Works Column Clock: 8 day weight driven with gong strike, repainted wood dial, partial interior label and 2 replacement glass panes. The case is mahogany with stenciled columns. Has weights, hands, but no pendulum rod or ball.
(The case’s exterior and mirror are not attractive in the least and needs some care and restoration.)
