Ansonia clock with 2-piece porcelain dial and visible escapement. Cracks in the porcelain at the Roman Numerals 1 and 3. Royal Bonn “La Orb” model case with hand painted Irises on front and sides. Crack on the back of case where brass dust cover door is attached. Front crystal cracked, works need cleaned. 14″ x 5 1/2″ x 12 1/4″ high. 1904.

Ansonia Royal Bonn China Clock La Orb.. 4 in. porcelain inset dial has black hands, exposed Brocot escapement and fancy gilt brass bezel with door glass; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed Ansonia Clock Co., has half hour coiled gong strike. In a signed Royal Bonn case with colors of green, yellow and aqua with gilt trim, colorful water lily flowers and relief decorated filigree on the crest and side pillars. In good condition with no breaks, cracks or repairs. 12.25 in. high x 13.25 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Description
Ansonia Royal Bonn “La Orb” Porcelain Clock: 8 day time with half hour gong striking movement and a 5″ dial with visible escapement. The front has a hand painted Dutch scene. The case color is a green color so dark it is nearly black.
(The case has all over crazing and a chip on one back corner, and the right front foot.)
