Condition

Minor surface wear throughout, a few minor chips present, crazing throughout, minor gilt loss and paint wear, door with glass crystal will not stay shut securely, access panel has a stripped screw hole, which can be very easily restored. This clock appears to be operational, but has not been checked for accuracy. Winning bidder should expect that it needs to be cleaned, oiled, and adjusted by a certified clock technician.

Ansonia Royal Bonn La Drome China Clock: 8 day time with half hour gong strike, 5″ dial with visible escapement. In a lavender and white floral decorated case, well marked. With key.

(The dial’s outer ring is fractured between the 6 and 7. The case has no restoration, but it does have a small chip on the inside of the back left foot. There is no back access door.)
