A handsome double statue with original pewter like finish to the figures, nice perfect double sunk porcelain enamel dial with central exposed escapement and lettering of ANSONIA CLOCK CO PATENTED. Measures 9 x 20 x 25.5 inches, finger repair to one figure.
Condition
Finger tip of figure on right has been broken and glued back with the original finger piece. No other chips, splits repairs or bends. Perfect dial without chips or lines, original finish to figures and original enamel and incised gold to the base. To the right of the clock there are numerous small flakes on the top surface of the base where for years the key was laid after winding.

Ansonia Pizarro Statue Clock: 8 day time with half hour gong striking movement. The dial with visible escapement is 5 1/2″ wide.
(Not running. The time spring is wound tight. The gold finish on the figure and case is showing some wear. There is no pendulum. The access door is not attached.)

A Late 19th Century Ansonia “Pizarro and Cortes” Figural Mantle Clock. Eight day time and strike, with open escapement and Porcelain enameled dial. Cast metal case and Double figures, depicting Pizarro and Cortes, situated atop an Ebonized iron base. The figure of Pizarro is lacking his right index finger, lacking the finial, wear to the metal, losses/chipping to the ebonized base. 26″ wide x 20 1/2″ high. ESTIMATE $600-800
