Ansonia “Santa Fe” Weight Driven Wall Regulator. Original 10 in. paper dial has black Roman hour numerals, blued spade hands and sub seconds dial; 8 day brass time only movement has a Graham deadbeat escapement with 2 brass covered side weights and brass pulleys. In a walnut case with swirling filigree carved crest over a spindled gallery, long turned columns on the sides of the door and teardrop finials over a turned crossbar at the bottom. In good condition and excellent original finish. 52 in. high x 16.5 in. wide x 8.5 in. deep.

Ansonia “Santa Fe” Oak Wall Clock, Ansonia Clock Company, Brooklyn, New York, c. 1890, the oak case with incised decoration, free-standing columns flanking the full length glazed door, and gallery top, 10-in. paper on zinc dial with Roman numerals and seconds bit, eight-day time only movement powered by two brass cased weights and regulated by a pendulum, ht. 46 1/2 in.

Condition

Condition: Lacking top removeable crest, dial, weights and pendulum are the original, retains original beat scale marked Ansonia Clock Company.

Condition

Lacking top crest, otherwise fine currently running. Mr. Vallee had most of his clocks in running order but Forsythes’ does not guarantee working condition on any clocks or watches.
