Description
Tall oak kitchen style clock measures 23″ tall by 14 3/4″ wide, and is 4 3/4″ deep. Case is decorated in the Arts & Crafts style. There is a reverse paint on the door glass of a battleship with a shield surrounded by American flags below. Has a partial label still attached on back. This is an 8 day clock with half hour strike. Paper face on brass is marked “Seth Thomas Manufactured in the United states of America”. Good condition.

Seth Thomas Oak Fleet No.1 Clock: 8 day, half hour striking movement with gong. The back label states Souvenir of Wonderful Peace Cruise- of the U.S. Fleet Around the World-1907-1908-1909. The label has No.298B on it.
(The dial is stained and dirty. The floral pendulum ball has some discoloration.)
