Ansonia Novelty Clock – Temple. 2 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, filigree decorated brass center disc and blued spade hands; brass 8 day spring driven time only movement with a lever escapement, singed Ansonia Clock Co., Pat. May 3rd, 1892. Case is in the form of a temple pagoda with clock contained in the center, has an overall gilt finish; missing the crescent finial for the top of the dome, movement is not running. 8.75 in. high.

Condition

Rust spots all over body where black enamel has chipped off. Rust on right side of column base. Plaque at atop of temple appears to have been green. Most paint gone, silver or grey now. One crack in enamel dial where winder is.
