A 19th century American "Perry's Victory 1813" Banjo clock. 8-day weight driven time only movement with a painted Iron dial and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with Gilded front, Gilded Brass Eagle finial over a molded Brass dial door, tapered throat panel with applied rope moldings and reverse painted glass flanked by shaped Brass side arms, lower door with a reverse painted Naval Battle scene labeled "Perry's Victory 1813". Some dial wear, minor loss to Gilding, touch-ups to the glasses, replaced finial, running momentarily when cataloged. 33 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $1,500-2,000

Shaped Cherry case with half round moldings, reverse painted throat and lower door glass. Older refinishing with some wear, dial touch-ups, some flaking on glasses, running when cataloged. 28 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $600-800

Mahogany case with Gilded front, Gilded Brass Eagle finial over a molded Brass dial door, tapered throat panel with applied rope moldings and reverse painted glass flanked by shaped Brass side arms, lower door with a reverse painted glass with figures in a landscape. Refinished case with minor wear, repainted dial and Gilding, restored "Moberg" glasses, replaced finial weight & pulley, running when cataloged. 34 1/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $1,500-2,000

American Mahogany Banjo Clock. 7 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals and original blued hands; typical brass 8 day weight driven time only banjo clock movement has a lead weight, brass pulley and brass pendulum bob with steel rod. In a mahogany banjo style case with gilt brass eagle finial, door bezel and pierced side arms; original reverse painted throat glass has a tan background with gilt filigree over red and the original reverse painted lower door glass depicts ÂPerryÂs VictoryÂ. In good overall condition, original finish, dial has some inpainting, dial glass in replaced, case stamped with numbers Â916Â. 31.5 in. high x 10 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
